We chose 1800 Drayton for our wedding because the venue itself is beautiful, and the food was genuinely good. Unfortunately, beyond that, our experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. If you are a bride looking for a venue that is organized, communicative, involved, and capable of confidently managing a wedding day, I would strongly encourage you to think carefully before booking here. Throughout both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, there was a severe lack of management presence and communication. Many important details that had been discussed beforehand were either not communicated to staff or completely overlooked. Our coordinator was left scrambling to solve issues that should have already been handled by the venue team. Service was consistently understaffed and disorganized. Drinks and dinner service were delayed and and bar service quickly ran out of alcohol during cocktail hour for a 140-person wedding. At one point, staff had to leave to purchase more beverages elsewhere. The drinks being served also did not match what we had previously discussed. We just did our 10-year anniversary for Rogers Group Inc. on Friday, August 29th. The staff was absolutely amazing. We used the inside facility and the outside grasses area for the entire event. The food was great, we had face painting, Balloon Artist, and a magician as well as a DJ. Games all around the event center for everyone to use. The day was a huge success thanks to Bob and his staff. Thank you so much for the memories. Rogers Group.

Recently visited Spartanburg and discovered Dray Bar and Grill for lunch. There was 4 of us and we decided to sit at the bar to eat. Katie(bartender) was very attentive and welcoming. Food was delicious and portions very generous. I would highly recommend the fried pimento cheese bites, the teriyaki chicken wings, Philly cheesesteak and Dray Burger! You will not be disappointed! A very pleasant atmosphere, lots of TV’s and a great outdoor seating area! Definitely would go back!

We celebrated my mothers 90th birthday party with the most amazing group of people. The staff at Drayton was amazing they were gracious and went out of their way to help above and beyond catering. The food and atmosphere were amazing it was a magical evening for everyone involved. Thank you so much to Chief and his crew.

We just had our daughters wedding reception here. Holly was so easy to work with and was there for us when we needed her. The set up is perfect. There is a gorgeous brides room and a fun grooms room. There are lots of places for photo ops. I would highly recommend using this place for your big day!
